WHAT AGE SHOULD CHILDREN START GOING TO THE DENTIST?
Bringing your child with you on your appointment will introduce your child to “the dentist”.
A good age to sit your child in the dental chair is around three or four even if they don’t open their mouth.
Teach good habits early, as good habits start young for a lifetime of healthy teeth and gums:
- Brush twice a day
- Reduce snacking and
- Begin dental visits early as detection of minor problems will prevent them from becoming major ones
